... no more DDaWAY ...

I'm feeling a little sad tonight. Maybe because the boy went home to sydney today and i wont see him for just over a week. But mostly i'm sad because 4 weeks of living and breathing DDaWAY has finally come to an end. Tho i whinged a-plenty about the long hours, i completely loved working on this project and to see it come to an end is fairly heart wrenching. withdrawal symptoms big time.

Anyway, happy snaps (in no particular order) ~

Friday night's cocktail party by the main pool was awesome. I behaved though because I had to be up at 5am on Saturday morning, to start work at 6am. Yep, crazy stuff.

I officially clocked off work at 5pm on Saturday and managed to sneak in some quality time with Panu before the Gala Dinner. We cruised around in my golf buggy and munched on yummy belgian chocolates *heHe* very very fun!

The Gala Party was Moroccan themed. it started with fireworks by the pool, followed by our CEO leading us on camel-back to the Pavilion. The Pavilion looked amazing - something straight out of Arabian Nights. Seeing hundreds of concept photos over the last few weeks just does not compare to seeing it in real life. The 35 performers entertained us all night Cirque Du Soleil style... and I wore a dress! and heels! I totally looked like a girl *blush*...

After the Party, we ditched Frasers (super crowded night club) and headed straight for the pool. TO. MUCH. FUN. how i desperately wished I had a water proof camera! Shenanigans galore ~ we managed to put everything in the pool, from pool chairs & tables, to wine bottles and even bicycles. Yes, we were riding around inside the pool on bicycles. God, hilarious. I also didnt mind that the pool had several dark corners, just for a little bit more fun... *shhh.. hehe...*

The pool party ended and we crashed at Panu & Aaron's villa... got no sleep... and before you know it the sun is up. Said my sad goodbyes to them at 8am... and I was horizontal for the rest of the day.

I miss DDaWAY already. Can't wait til 2007!
